October Meeting Minutes
Meeting Date: 10/15/2008
Members Present: Justin, Scott, Chad & Lisa, Mike, Paulette
Quorum: Yes: 5 of 7 members present

New Business:
All members present signed the partnership agreement.
Justin announced that we now have a Tax ID number under the name “Dollars and Sense Investment Club”. Any membership changes need to be communicated to the IRS.
Justin announced our bank account will be established with National City Bank. The two people able to cash checks on the account are Justin and Chad.
Justin reviewed the by-laws. Key points were:
Each meeting requires a quorum consisting of a 2/3 majority of members to conduct business.
Annual administrative fee for members will cover the costs of subscriptions and services
The valuation date will be the last day of each month
We will have a semi-annual audit meeting
Set date for next meeting – 11/5/08 at Chad and Lisa’s house
Members will bring the first deposit check of $100.00 each to the next meeting.
There was some discussion of website vs. blog
Members agreed there was no further business and adjourned meeting.
